UNH Lecturer Achieves Best Presenter Award at the 2026 National Innovative Seminar with HydroSmart Innovation Based on Machine Learning

Universitas Nurdin Hamzah has once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment at the national level. One of its distinguished lecturers, Novhirtamely Kahar, ST., M.Kom, successfully received the Best Presenter award at the 2026 Innovative National Seminar held at BSI University Jakarta. This award serves as clear evidence of the quality of UNH academics in contributing to the advancement of science and technology.

This achievement was attained through the presentation of a scientific paper titled “Implementation of Machine Learning Using the Feedforward Neural Network Method for Hydroponic Plant Recommendations in the HydroSmart Application.” The research offers an innovative solution in the field of modern agriculture by utilizing artificial intelligence to provide optimal hydroponic plant recommendations.

During the presentation, Novhirtamely Kahar demonstrated the strengths of the proposed method, both in terms of accuracy and practical implementation within the HydroSmart application. These advantages distinguished the work among numerous other studies presented at the national seminar.
